Jacque Le Strappe
Jacques Le Strappe is proud to trace his ancestry to the famous “Von Strappe Family Singers” who after climbing every mountain and fording every stream settled in France where Jacques learned to play woodwind instruments. “ Le Strappe” began playing the Recorder and gradually added Clarinet and toured with the family youth ensemble, “The Strapplings.” “ Le Strappe” then took up Saxophone and flute, touring with “Herbe La Base.”
The Eastern European branch of the family “The Strapponskys,” anglicized the name to “Strappon.” Jacque learned to play guitar and toured with the “Strappons” who were very popular with certain segments of the audience who appreciated that the style was always hard. The “I Don’t Want to be a Virgin” tour sold out everywhere the “Strappons” were featured.
Another branch of the family worked in circus entertainment as “Strappeze Artists.” “Strappeze” was also very popular with “Strappon” appreciators for that smooth experience. “Le Strappe” learned to play Keyboardaphone as part of a cultural exchange program where he toured with “Cuidado Piso Mojado” and co-wrote the mega hit “Lave Los Manos.”
